I did it!

I played Vivaldi Concerto in D with a combined middle school and Ithaca Community Orchestra. I also played the Intermezzo from Cavallaria Rusticana and it was fun. Except for a couple of wrong notes I am happy to report it all went very well and I do not think anyone noticed. I cheated a little on a slow movement measure of Vivaldi because I thought I might be off but I improvised a bit, came right back in.

Because it was a combined concert that included a premiere of a piece by local composer there were a lot of people there. I was not so nervous because my children were playing solos on the concert and listening to them distracted me.

Next big thing is playing a couple of concerts which includes Salzedo arrangement of Meditation from Thais, Deux Preludes Romantiques by Tournier and Alques by Andres with Jonathan, my violin playing son.
